Check out the following link to see how we got there...
What a journey - its only just beginning!
Bricki Love!
The Bricki Bungalow
They meet, they fall in love, they buy a house...this is the story of one couple turning a little 1924 bungalow on Queen Anne into their home.
We hope that you enjoy the journey right along with us

whoa doggy!
nicki: "stella has been so well behaved lately"
brian: "i know! she never gets into anything she shouldn't, she doesn't chew on things..."
nicki: "should we try to let her sleep out of her kennel soon?"
brian: "i was thinking the same. maybe tonight?"
nicki: "great! i'm sure she will be total angel!!"
dun, dun dun...
lesson learned: do not leave your glasses on the nightstand for the puppy to pick up and use as a chew toy while you sleep peacefully just 2 feet away.

New color!
Remember this color:

Improvement?? (new awning and new color)

The little green house is now "Gray's Harbor" gray/blue! And the doors, it wouldn't be complete without some mac & cheese orange (it was supposed to be more of a burnt orange, but the mac & cheese is growing on us).
We (meaning Brian) spent a couple weekends prepping, fixing, priming, painting, touching-up, etc. It was a BIG project but definitely worth it! You will notice that the overhang on the porch is still green - the next project is to strip the paint and sand it down to the natural wood. We did a small spot and the wood looks amazing. Another project for another day!
Happy summer friends and family!

sally's 60th b-day!
Who says 60 can't be just as fab as 50? Sally turned 60 on March 15th and while she was traveling around the world hitting all 5 disney theme parks on her actual b-day, we got together the weekend prior for some wine tasting and dinner. We hit Brian Carter Cellers in Woodinville for some tasting with the Baldwins, Kings and Erika. We even brought the pup that just arrived from Idaho that morning (BC is a dog friendly winery!). After a few sips at BC, we headed over to Purple for some dinner. It was a wonderful evening with our families - we are very blessed.
Oh, and I just have to add that I sure hope that I look that good at 60!
