new deck furniture

we bought a table and chairs for the deck last weekend and have been really enjoying dinner and wine outside. fingers crossed that our september continues to produce the beautiful weather that we have had recently.

still bits-o-chaos

cleaning the basement meant no room to put all of our stuff, so most of it remained strewn about the upstairs for the first couple weeks...





there were a couple rooms that i was determined to get organized - bedroom and kitchen (well brian's bedroom, mine is the one at the back of the house and that still remains a mess).

ew! basements are pretty gross, espcially when they haven't been cleaned since 1924 (ok, maybe a bit of an exageration). Labor day weekend was full of basement labor - wee took the basement from this gross rainbow madness:
